Found blooming from her recent projects and up from her Walthamstow roots, emerging Soul artist Zoe Kypri is swiftly becoming known for her powerfully rich, wholesome sound and distinctive tone worldwide. Zoe’s songwriting expresses openness of the heart and soul. Flourishing, captivating melodies that often fuse the introspection of private worlds, of feelings involving conflicts of the mind and soul, confessions of experience, desires of a better world, and gratitude for all the beauty that already is. A hybrid between two worlds… Her warm, sultry city grit and deep free spirit become enmeshed, drenched in timeless soul, hip-hop & RnB flare.
Kypri’s first release of the year ‘HORIZON RED’ with MADE BY PETE was released on Damian Lazarus’ world-renowned ‘Cross Town Rebels’ label. The record has since become one of the biggest house records of the year. Now traveling across the globe and acquiring support and respect from Pete Tong, Black Coffee, and DJ SPOONY to name a few. Since being remixed by Damian himself and Black Coffee. Horizon Red sat at number 1 on Traxsource for 5 months and has racked up 30+ million views and streams across socials and streaming sites.
Other recent releases, including MAZE (JAYWILCOX), SO IT SEEMS (PMONEY), and I SEE ME IN YOU, have gained NEW MUSIC FRIDAY support via Spotify and radio plays. Heard on BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC Radio 1 (London), 6Music, NTS, Mi-Soul, Soho Radio, GLOBAL SOUL RADIO, RINSE, BBC 2, KISS FM, and SWU FM, to name a few. MI-SOUL’s DJ Stretch Taylor also making RIDE his RnB track of the year. Performances at THE JAZZ CAFÉ (GLOBAL SOUL), GLASTONBURY, her SOLD OUT HEADLINE SHOW at THE LOWER THIRD LONDON, and THE SECRET GARDEN PARTY have seemingly been a warm-up for the big shows that are soon to be announced.
Most releases being made via Zoe’s own label INDIZENDENT RECORDS. In addition to this, Kypri’s vocals have been recognized by some of dance music’s biggest acts, including the Brit Award-winning Rudimental. Zoe and Rudi’s Mark Crown are next to collab via SOUL QUEST rec. Shows with the groups have included The Royal Albert Hall, London’s Roundhouse, and a sold-out show at the O2 arena and the Reading festival.
Her versatility, range, and dynamism have meant she has won the affection and respect of both music lovers and musicians, quickly becoming a significant and singular trailblazer. She is now set for a bright year and career beyond ahead.
